Literature Text

How can a flame,
Be put to dark,
which in its shame,
is but a spark?

Not yet to burn,
in the time it's had,
but upon itself yearn,
for something so bad.

As if to imply,
it has burnt enough.
Oh, laughably dry,
that ignorant bluff!

Which tries so hard,
Like a book of Luth.
In complete disregard,
for logic and truth.
This is a topic that has recently plagued my conscience. A person very close to me, and myself have very differing views on the subject of suicide.

I have listened to her idea, and she knows who she is I'm making no inclination to hide who I speak of except to those who are not my friends, and yet I just cannot fathom how someone could come to such conclusions. It baffles me.

I worry, truly I do. It's painful to know that someone so full of life, potential, and wonderful things can think in the way she does. There's just zero logic behind it. And it scares the crap out of me, because she is very close to my heart.

Anyway, this feels incomplete. I might add to it later. I wrote it up in class in like, 5 minutes and just got distracted with actual work and learnings. And whatnots.

Luth. For those who are unaware, refers to the Lutheran Church. I'm not a fan of religion. So if that offends you: Well that's my opinion. Move on and have a wonderful day.
