I thought we were perfect
That fate had given in
As we battled through the storms
We could claim that win
Through the harsh breakers
Our efforts paid out
Now we could be together
Without that shadow of doubt
You brought me joy
You put a flower in my hair
It was the happiest day of my life
But the last day you'd care
My sunshine went out
My universe went dark
When you told me how you felt
You stomped out my heart
I guess I was wrong
To trust and to feel
To hear those words from you
I know that pain is real
I was fine before you
I'll be fine again
Despite your best efforts
This isn't my end
But everywhere I see you
My heart shatters once

The Weight of Words
Words are so heavy,
so saturated,
so useful,
and so unique.
Loaded with meaning,
with purpose,
with value,
and with strength.
Words topple kingdoms,
topple worlds,
topple hatred,
and topple peace.
But nobody sees them,
sees the weight,
the meaning,
or the kingdoms.
Nobody cares anymore,
about truth,
about honesty,
or about honor.
They talk to sway,
to persuade,
to seduce,
or to harm.
With no regard for words,
for their weight,
for their ability,
or for their meaning.
They wield them like tools,
like weapons,
like fetishes,
and like ammo.
It's a sad thing to see them,
so abused,
so misused,
and so light.
They've lost their weight,
los
Will there ever be,
A place for me,
In someone Else's heart?
I've sent a friend,
to meet their end,
I'll watch it fall apart.
But what of mine,
and my own time,
When's my story start?
I swear I was born,
To wake up every morn,
In a world I'll never fit in.
But that's alright,
I'll kick and I'll fight,
'till I find out where to begin.
I'll live my life,
Possibly traveling light,
Still, I'll be Me, and therefore I win.
They all believe
I'm so unique
I'm floating in the sky!
Above their heads
Frigid crossthreads
Carry my soul so high!
But now, behold!
I've drifted so low
And to the ground go I,
My wings are clipped
My pride is snipped
A plummet and I shall die.

The Spark Who Spoke Like Flame
How can a flame,
Be put to dark,
which in its shame,
is but a spark?
Not yet to burn,
in the time it's had,
but upon itself yearn,
for something so bad.
As if to imply,
it has burnt enough.
Oh, laughably dry,
that ignorant bluff!
Which tries so hard,
Like a book of Luth.
In complete disregard,
for logic and truth.
My heart,
with you,
becomes unglued.
The stoney wall,
is bound to fall,
The bulwark already,
has become unsteady.
My crown, once dull,
Will be bright and full.
Full tilt,
in the dream,
festered guilt,
a silent scream,
Grasp, pull,
run like hell,
never dull,
This roaring bell,
But no,
they don't see,
and so,
it rests in me,
Boiling blood,
'simmer down',
bomb dud,
saved the town,
Stop pain,
start the torture,
bad fame,
this stupid culture.
Your Dampened Bones by LaughingProphet, literature

Your Dampened Bones
Trapped in a cage,
You built for yourself,
the hands they do reach,
They try so hard to help.
Darkness surrounds,
All that you see,
My torch will guide,
But you won't follow me.
The hole is damp,
Wet with depression,
Soaking your bones more,
with each hour of succession.
But you like it there.
With the cage,
with the darkness,
with the dampness.
You like it because you built it.
You built it as a bastion,
to keep the bad things out,
now you are trapped inside,
and fill yourself with doubt.
Hammer and chisel,
loudly I cry,
slamming my hammer,
oh how I try, and try.
To free you from your prison,
you so willingly made,
I thought we were perfect

I'm too full of hope, even after setting my self up for disappointment so many times. I always come bounding back, looking for another try. Like water I flow the river of life, bending, breaking, but always moving forward. I tend to cling, I let things go. And when that times comes I want you to know: If I met you once, talked to you twice, and we got along, pretty nice. I want you to know you left a mark in this river, a mark that will never fade, but never scars... It's there in the surface, with all the rest. Each as precious as the next, this forever, I want you to know. In my heart, heavy as it is, no matter where I flow, you're always with me.

This show really needs a shout out, because I don't feel it has a huge following yet, and it damn well should!  It's called Sword Art Online, and it's a lot like .hack, but it definitely does its own unique stuff and should in no way be be labeled a copy cat of that series.

I don't even know what to write here, but that last journal got a bit silly.
Updates, I guess. For those who read them. I've mostly quit SL(finally!). I'll really only be on when a certain someone is on, or if someone ASKS me personally to get on for something. Otherwise, I wipe my hands of the whole thing. It's been a long time coming, anyway.
Can't wait for the TERA beta this weekend. Phase 2 commencing, and I'mma be there slashing it up like a bawse.
Planetside 2 beta should be coming up soon, too! Excited more for that than the release of Mass Effect 3, which is also going to be awesome.
